Summer of Fun - 2023

The Parish Council are pleased to fund a Summer of Fun packed sessions! We hope these sessions will keep your children busy and active throughout the six week Summer break!

These FREE activites are avaiable for children living within the Parish - Atterbury, Broughton, Broughton Gate, Broughton Village, Brooklands, Middleton, MK Village and Oakgrove. Proof of address will be required.

We have worked with Milton Keynes Play Association, The Parks Trust, Football Fun Factory and Cha Char Chimps to bring you a variety of sessions.

WEEK ONE

Monday 24th July	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School. Limited FREE places are available for children living in the parish. Call into Broughton Pavilion to fill out a booking form. Proof of address will be required. Sessions are suitable for children aged 7 -14.	FULLY BOOKED - 9am till Noon - Join the coaches from Football Fun Factory for a fabulous fun session at Broughton Pavilion. This session is suitable for children aged 5 - 12. Call into Broughton Pavilion to fill out a booking form. Proof of address will be required. Parents are not required to stay.
Tuesday 25th July	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	FULLY BOOKED - 9am till Noon - Join the coaches from Football Fun Factory for a fabulous fun session at Broughton Pavilion. This session is suitable for children aged 5 - 12. Call into Broughton Pavilion to fill out a booking form. Proof of address will be required. Parents are not required to stay.

Thursday 27th July	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	9.45 till 10.30 - Cha Char Chimps will be at Broughton Pavilion. Join Lizi for a fun packed morning of music, movement, song and dance! Adults must stay with the children throughout the session. This session is suitable for ages 0 to 5, older siblings are welcome! No booking required!
Friday 28th July	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	Bug Hunting! Come and join The Parks Trust team to hunt for minibeasts! You will get to use a sweep net to catch the creatures that live in the grassland and explore other habitats around Broughton Brook. We will also be creating mini bug hotels for you to take home. This is suitable for ages 8-12. Parents are not required to stay for the session. The session will take place in Broughton Brook Park on Friday 28th July. There are two time slots to choose from: 9.30-11.15 and 12.00-1.45. Click HERE to book.

Tuesday 1st August	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School. .
Wednesday 2nd August	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	10am till 12:30pm - Join the team from Milton Keynes Play Association on the playing Fields at Broughton Pavilion for a FREE Summer Play Session. Enjoy Arts & Crafts, Bouncy Castles, Risky Play and Giant Games! All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session. Activities are generally suitable for children aged 4 and above, however, younger children are more than welcome, they just might need a little extra help from their parent or carer. No booking required!
Thursday 3rd August	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	9.45 till 10.30 - Cha Char Chimps at Broughton Pavilion. Join Lizi for a fun packed morning of music, movement, song and dance! Adults must stay with the children throughout the session. This session is suitable for ages 0 to 5, older siblings are welcome! No booking required!

WEEK THREE

Monday 7th August	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School. Limited FREE places are available for children living in the parish. Call into Broughton Pavilion to fill out a booking form. Proof of address will be required. Sessions are suitable for children aged 7 -14.	Shelter Building! Come and join The Parks Trust team to build shelters! You will get to find out about knots and be challenged to create a shelter with a team in Broughton Brook. This is suitable for ages 8-12. Parents are not required to stay for the session. The session will take place in Broughton Brook Park on Monday 7th August. There are two time slots to choose from: 9.30-11.15 and 12.00-1.45. Click HERE to book.

Friday 25th August	Let's Kick It Day Camps at Broughton Fields School.	Orienteering! Come and join The Parks Trust team to explore Broughton Brook Park! You will get to use compasses to complete challenges around the park. This is suitable for ages 8-12. Parents are not required to stay for the session. The session will take place in Broughton Brook Park on Friday 25th August. There are two time slots to choose from: 9.30-11.15 and 12.00-1.45. Click HERE to book.

Friday 1st September	10am till Noon and 2pm till 4pm - End of Summer Craft Session - Celebrate the end of the Summer Break with a craft session at Broughton Pavilion. Parents must stay with their children. Booking required - booking details coming soon!
