Job Role: Caretaker Hours: 20 per week (part time) Monday - Friday - flexible hours, to be arranged. Salary: £11.21 per hour Location: Broughton Pavilion Reports to: Assistant Clerk Closing Date: Friday October 6th - 5pm Initial Interview Date: Week Commencing 9th October 2023 Note: We reserve the right to close applications early should we receive a high number of applicants. 

Job Role:  A large part of this role will be based at Broughton Pavilion, a large community pavilion based in the centre of Broughton, a busy residential area, on the edge of Broughton Village. A true mix of old and new!  The role will require dealing with residents and contractors in a positive and professional manner. The Caretaker will also provide a visible presence in and around the pavilion, carrying out necessary maintenance tasks, opening and closing the building and litter picking the sports field, to name but a few of the responsibilities.  The post is a permanent role, 20 hours per week,  

About you: The ideal applicant will enjoy being hands on, practical minded and able to think on their feet! You will have strong interpersonal skills and be used to managing multiple priorities. You will also be tactful and polite when dealing with members of the public.  You will be someone who enjoys working flexibly in a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. It is essential that you work well in a team and have a positive can-do attitude.
