Job Role: The role will be vital in supporting the office staff to help ensure the smooth running of the Council to build on the already constructive and beneficial engagement between Broughton & Milton Keynes Parish Council and the community it serves. The role requires the person to organise operations and procedures and monitor clerical functions. The person will support the Responsible Financial Officer by performing a variety of financial and administrative duties, handling bookings, and assisting staff with the delivery of a busy project and events schedule. The role will also require dealing with residents, and contractors in a positive manner and professional manner
About you: The ideal applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and be used to managing multiple priorities. Job Role: Parish Ranger/Warden Hours: 25 per week (part time) Monday - Friday - with the potential to be full-time for the candidate with the right skill set. Salary: £23,023 to £24,920 per annum (pro rata) Core hours: 9am – 5pm Location: Broughton Pavilion Reports to: Clerk to the Council Closing Date: Friday 21st April 2023 - 5pm Initial Interview Date: Week Commencing 24th April 2023 Second Interviews: TBC
Job Role: A large part of this role will be based outdoors, managing our four, soon to be five, allotment sites across the parish. Carrying out regular inspections, maintaing waiting lists and issuing paperwork to allotment tennants. The role will require dealing with residents, and contractors in a positive and professional manner. The Parish Ranger will also provide a visible presence around the community and help identify issues that may have a negative impact on the Parish. The post is a permanent role, 25 hours per week, with the potential to be full-time for the candidate with the right skill set.
