Supporting Young People in Our Parish

We are committed to listening to young people and creating more opportunities for them to get involved, develop new skills and enjoy activities within their local community.

Our work is supported by a dedicated Youth Engagement Committee, which meets four times a year to discuss the issues affecting young people and explore new projects, services and activities across the parish.

We are always keen to hear directly from young people. Whether you have an idea for an activity, think something is missing locally, or simply want to share what matters to you, we would love to hear from you. Your views can help shape what we provide in the future.

The Committee is chaired by Councillor Macsene Isles-Ahite. You can find her contact details on our Councillors page.

We are proud of the work already taking place, but we are always looking to do more for the young people of Broughton, Brooklands, Middleton, Oakgrove, Milton Keynes Village and the surrounding parish areas.

Sessions usually take place on the third Saturday each month from 10am-12pm. These meetings take place outdoors in greenspaces all over Milton Keynes, covering a variety of interesting and engaging topics which include practical conservation work, biodiversity surveying, community tasks and assisting in our outdoor learning and ranger tasks.
