We’re excited to welcome Capital City College Group (CCCG), one of the largest further education providers in the UK, to Broughton Pavilion, where they’ll be offering valuable training courses for local residents. These courses are designed to help unemployed individuals gain skills and confidence to secure employment. 
 
As part of the Sector-based Work Academy Programme (SWAP), run in partnership with Jobcentre Plus (JCP), participants will receive training in high-demand industries and guaranteed job interviews upon course completion. 
 
What is SWAP? 
The Sector-based Work Academy Programme (SWAP) connects unemployed individuals with skills training that leads directly to job opportunities. Each course is linked with an employer offering guaranteed interviews for participants, creating a clear pathway to potential employment. 
 
Available Courses: 
 
SIA Door Supervisor (Level 2) 
 
• Physical Intervention Training: The programme includes practical training in physical intervention techniques, equipping participants with essential skills for security roles. 
• SIA License: CCCG cover the full cost of obtaining an SIA license for all participants, valid for three years, ensuring they are job-ready upon course completion. 
• First Aid at Work: As part of the course, each participant will receive First Aid at Work qualification, adding further value to their skill set. 
 
Construction Skills 
 
• CSCS Card:CCCG fully sponsor participants' CSCS cards, a crucial requirement for the construction industry. 
• Professional Construction Cards: Eligible learners can receive additional professional construction cards at no cost, including supervisor cards and more. 
 
Forklift Training 
 
Learn to operate forklifts safely, with guaranteed job interviews in logistics and related fields. 
 
An additional bonus to these courses are: 
 
Support and Free Resits: Participants who face challenges passing their exams will receive additional support and free resit opportunities to help them succeed. 
Guaranteed Interviews: Every participant will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers and receive a guaranteed interview at the end of the course, ensuring a direct pathway to employment. 
 
These courses provide a fantastic opportunity for residents to gain qualifications and kickstart careers in growing industries.

- Must have an ID-passport or Birth certificate, if foreign passport they will need to show immigration status 
- Unemployed, or earning below 23k a year 
- Pass the initial assessment provided by the college
