Summer 2020 Holiday Activities 

This year we had to have a think about how we could keep the kids occupied during the school holiday and have come up with a series of FREE activities that can be done whilst maintaining social distancing. 
 
We have also compiled activity ideas from other places and you will find them all on this page - A one-stop-shop to keep you are your children occupied this year. All are free or low cost. 

Parish Council Activities 

From Monday 27th July - Pebble Painting 
Collect a pebble to take home and decorate, you can keep it or maybe add it to the Rock Snake in Broughton Village or maybe even start up your own Rock Snake! Just make sure you check landowner’s permission first! 
 
From Monday 3rd August – Scavenger Hunt 
Something for everyone! We have two versions, some things are easier to find than others, but can you find all 15? 
 
From Monday 10th August – Craft Box 
Come and collect your craft box (1 Per family) and use the contents to ‘get crafty’. Send us images of your ‘makes’ and we will publish them on our website! 
 
From Monday 17th August – Photo Trail 
A great opportunity to explore a different part of the parish! There’s a quiz sheet for each neighbourhood, why not check them all out over the week and discover some new places, literally on your doorstep! 
 
From Monday 24th August – Selfie Challenge 
We want you to send us your selfies, when you are out and about having fun in the parish - grown ups can even join in with this one!

Craft Boxes will only be available to collect from our Oakgrove offices between Monday 10th August & Friday 14th August between 9am - Midday. We are situated at 27 Atlas Way, MK10 9SG. In between the little red post box and Oakgrove Primary School opposite Abacus Way. 
 
Contents of Craft Boxes will vary but will include items the same or similar to image below.

Kuku Coffee House 

This independent, family friendly coffee shop in Broughton Gate have introduced a kid's bookclub to take place every Monday from 11am till 12pm.
