The Two Villages Archive Trust was set up in 1995, a time of great change in Milton Keynes Village and Broughton, as rows of houses and grid roads appeared where there had been fields and country lanes.
We sought out old photographs, documents and memories, and tried to record changes as they occurred. We continue to do this, but have added copies of registers and census records to our collection and now have a lively group of over eighty members and regular meetings on the second Monday of most months.
Our growing collection is housed rather haphazardly as we have no premises of our own, but can be accessed by arrangement. It will be handed to the Parish Council should we cease to function.
